Thunderbolt Display Review by AnandTech [Video]

I recently blogged about Apple’s Macbook Dream Docking Station – Thunderbolt Display. It is a docking station plus 27inch display which is very interesting.

AnandTech did a very complete review of the display, and comments overall are very good. But I do agree with him that external graphics card should be in the next generation of Thunderbolt Display. This will be especially useful for Macbook Air users. Macbook Air is already itself a very powerful device, but what it is lacking is a more powerful discrete graphics card. With this, I’m sure gamers will now don’t think twice about buying the lower powered Macbook Air.

Check out his review of Thunderbolt Display:

Apple Thunderbolt Display – Dream Docking Station

Apple finally launch the Ultimate Docking Station for Macbook Pro and Macbook Air, Apple Thunderbolt Display. In this display, you not only get a beautiful 27 inch Display, 2.1 Speaker System, FaceTime HD Camera and Mic, you will also be getting a dream docking station any laptop users ever dream of.

Ultimate Docking Station – ThunderBolt Display

Thunderbolt Display is not only just a 27 inch large screen display, it also holds 3 USB 2.0 ports, FireWire 800 port, Gigabit Ethernet port, Thunderbolt port(which you can daisy chain), Kensington Security slot, FaceTime HD Camera, Microphone.

What I love most is the built-in MagSafe Cable(up to 85w), which you can plug in to it Macbook Pro and Macbook Air. So you won’t need any extra plug or cables for your Macbook when you reach home. Apple sure think of ways to make your desk clean and neat. So you just need 1 cable which includes Thunderbolt and MagSafe, plug in to your Macbook and you are set to go!

If you are a road warrior, but still love big screen and a neat desk, Thunderbolt Display is the best buy you will get. Check them out at the Apple Store.
