This is one of the most offensive ads ever from Samsung, mocking all who waits in line for the new Apple iPhone 4S. Samsung’s Galaxy S II’s ads not only stated that iPhone 4S’s battery life have issues, same design but they also bashed all Apple fans who queued up overnight for the new iPhone 4S’s launch. Siri beat Android’s Voice Recognition hands down! Rory Cellan-Jones from BBC did a quick test to see which smartphone is better in Voice Recognition, iPhone 4S’s Siri or Android’s Google Voice Recognition. He did the test by speaking the same text into Siri in iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy Tab and compared the transcribed results from both of them. Orignal text he read: It’s a challenge that has occupied scientists for decades and promised huge fortunes to anyone who could solve it. I’m talking about speech recognition, back in the news because it is one of the most significant features of Apple’s latest phone. Will it remain an amusing party-trick – or become the key way in which we communicate with computers?
Rory Cellan-Jones from BBC did a quick test to see which smartphone is better in Voice Recognition, iPhone 4S’s Siri or Android’s Google Voice Recognition.

He did the test by speaking the same text into Siri in iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy Tab and compared the transcribed results from both of them.

Orignal text he read:

It’s a challenge that has occupied scientists for decades and promised huge fortunes to anyone who could solve it. I’m talking about speech recognition, back in the news because it is one of the most significant features of Apple’s latest phone. Will it remain an amusing party-trick – or become the key way in which we communicate with computers?

Siri transcribed it as:

It’s a challenge that has occupied scientists the decade and promised huge fortunes to anyone who could solve it stop I’m talking about speech recognition back in the news because it is one of the most significant features of Apples latest phone STOCK will it remain unamusing party trick or become McKee way in which we communicate with COMPUTERS?

Galaxy Tab’s transcription:

If I started the decade and poets 14th avenue and hope It stops on Interstate recognItIon back In the news because It’s 1 of the most signIant pIctures of apples latest phone got the wIll remaIn In the musIc of the trIck or become a keyway computers.

From the above results, it seems like iPhone 4S’s reply is so much better than Samsung’s GalaxyTab’s. Although Apple’s Siri is release close to 1 year later than Google’s but it has already beat his competitor hands down. Congrats to Apple!

Yes, iPhone have been the most popular smartphone since 2009, and still remains as the most popular. Ideas don’t just come to us overnight. It seems like people have been looking at tablets even during 1994, and what they have been designing sounds very similar to what we have now in our iPad. Of course we know that Steve Jobs has been wanting to build iPad from the first day he starts his company, but technology is just now there.
My Thoughts

I think it is one of the coolest gadget you can buy for your living room, because I always do my web surfing in my living room while watching TV. Sometimes I will see something so interesting that I would want to show my family. I can only show them via my Macbook Pro Screen, but imagine if I can show them on the 42″ TV I have in my living room will be amazing!

Oh ya, another time will be FaceTime on Mac! Imagine Wireless displaying your FaceTime chat with your loves ones who are away in other countries, and the ability to show it on large screen. Pretty cool too.

McTiVia will be coming to Singapore by late April or May, please Stay Tuned with us and we will definitely update the pricing and other details once we get it!

Users of Motorola Atrix complain that they ain’t getting very good speed with the phone although it is a 4G Phone. A test was done and the result shows that iPhone 4‘s upload speed is much faster than Atrix! But words on the street are saying the fault might not be Motorola or Google fault, but AT&T! It seems like AT&T hasn’t enable the higher speed HSDPA+ radios on Android phone, but because Apple controls iPhone firmware and AT&T can’t touch it, thus the faster upload speed. Check out the SPEED test video:

As seen in the infographics, iPhone users on average spent at least $2 more than Android users. I think the most important reason for that is App Store. Apple has built up a very easy way to purchase apps, your credit card information is already kept in Apple’s Server. So if you want to buy any apps, there is nothing that will stop you other than your user id and password! With Apple’s App verification process, I think quality of the Apps are on average better than Android’s Market place, thus might give users a peace of mind when deciding to buy apps.
