Is this iPhone 5? Apple’s latest Photo Stream Beta might accidentally leaked the new iPhone’s design. Look below and you will see an instruction for Apple’s Photo Stream, but look closely at the iPhone icon. It is not iPhone 4′s design, nor any previous iPhone design. Looks like something that we have seen before? I’m not sure if you have notice, but don’t it look very similar to thisismynext’s design concept for the next iPhone? I didn’t believe Apple’s next iPhone design will look like what thisismynext drawn out, but with this icon. It seems like the design is really close to what they have. Apple’s Design grows on you Nevertheless, let’s wait patiently for Apple’s keynote, and see what does then next iPhone looks like. I’m very confident Apple’s design will grow on you. I used to think iPhone 4′s design look weird, but after using it for a few months. iPhone 3GS’s design look very kiddy to me, where as iPhone 4 looks very solid and professional.

One of the most important App that is still missing on iPad till today is Facebook App. Currently, we can only get Facebook for iPhone/iPod Touch, but there is no native app for iPad. Although u can say that you will still have a very nice browsing experience on mobile Safari on iPad, but nothing can beat the customization and viewing experience on an native App. Facebook for iPad is finally coming to App Store soon? MG Siegler from TechCrunch actually found out that Facebook for iPad might be launch very soon, but I kid you not, an executable Facebook for iPad is already on your Facebook App for iPhone! So if that’s the case, then it might be a universe app for Facebook. Overall the view of the App seems very clean and cool, I already love the UI of the App even before using. Let’s hope that we won’t have to wait too long for it to be launch, I’m kind of tired of using 3rd party apps which don’t really run as good as the one that I got on my iPhone. Steve Jobs used to say that Apple TV is a hobby for him. Something that he is still exploring, something there will not make him big bucks if you want to put it in a business sense. But I feel that Apple is slowly treating Apple TV as a serious hobby, not just a hobby. Reasons why Apple TV is a serious hobby now: Mirroring/AirPlay – iPhone and iPad has been 2 very successful product in recent years, and I think almost every house hold should at least have an iPad or iPhone. Having the ability to mirror whatever that is on your iPhone or iPad is going to be a big deal. Imagine the shows that you watch during your bus ride, or the photo you took on your way home. You can just flash it on the big screen TV you have in your living room! iTunes rental – Having the ability to rent any movie on your crouch is a very temping thing to have on your TV. You have that on your Apple TV Netflix – Although Netflix is only available in US now.
Reasons why Apple TV is a serious hobby now:

Mirroring/AirPlay – iPhone and iPad has been 2 very successful product in recent years, and I think almost every house hold should at least have an iPad or iPhone. Having the ability to mirror whatever that is on your iPhone or iPad is going to be a big deal. Imagine the shows that you watch during your bus ride, or the photo you took on your way home.
Netflix – Although Netflix is only available in US now.

Bluetooth support – Although it has yet to be announced, but having bluetooth supports, means you will be able to hook up keyboard and mouse/trackpad. You might be able to use Apple TV as a browser in future.

FaceTime HD Support via iPad/iPhone – Guys over at 9to5mac and TiPb did a FaceTime and AirPlay it over to their big screen TV. How awesome is that?

Price – Apple TV pricing at just USD$99 is a impulse buy product, although the features and function it has now are limited, but for just $99. You now can stream movies, rent drama series, see photo from your iPhone and continue the show you are watching on your iPad on your big screen TV. It is a must have product!

I’m very excited for the coming Apple TV generation 3, I’m sure it will support 1080p and who knows what will be install for us!

Backlit Keyboard coming to Macbook Air? One of the best loved features of Macbook Pro is the backlit keyboards. Yes, it is a feature that alot of people will forget, but when you need it, you will miss it like crazy! At times when I have to work in a dark room, having backlit keyboards are like having light at the end of the tunnel! Thus when Macbook Air came out last year, it is one of the best laptop ever built by Apple, because it is so light and so snappy. But backlit keyboard are heavily missed. It has always been a rumor that backlit keyboard will be added back to the next generation Macbook Airs. But with the above leaked photo, it might really be coming to us very soon! Let’s stay tuned and hope that backlit keyboard will be a new feature in Macbook Air!

Steve Jobs announcing iCloud in WWDC 2011

Apple has just announced that their CEO, Steve Jobs will be taking the stage to talk about their new iCloud Service, iOS 5 and Mac OS Lion. Below is what they have sent to developers:

Apple® CEO Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. At the keynote, Apple will unveil its next generation software – Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS® X; iOS 5, the next version of Apple’s advanced mobile operating system which powers the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®; and iCloud®, Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering.

Pretty packed WWDC 2011 for Apple. But why did Apple announce to the whole world about iCloud just a few days away from WWDC? Apple is always secretive and like to give us surprises. So are we going to get even more surprises from Apple?

Predication for Apple’s WWDC 2011

iCloud will be Apple’s newest cloud service, which might comprise of iTunes Cloud Streaming, iDisk(or a possible rename?), Cloud App Syncing, Monthly iTunes music Subscription. Apple has been building this massive Datacenter, which will most likely be supporting iCloud. So with such a huge cloud datacenter, it will not just be iTunes, I have a feeling it will be much more.

Monthly Music Subscription – Users will be able to pay a monthly fee and have music as all-you-can-listen package

iTunes Cloud Streaming – Users’ existing music will be automatically upload to the iTunes Cloud

iDisk fully integrated in Mac and iOS 5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. So files can just be transfer via iCloud without going through 3rd party apps

App syncing – All Apps that users purchase will be stored in the cloud, but not only that. All the save games data, information will be stored in cloud thus be able to sync up throughout all the devices sign in with the same account

Above are just some prediction, and hopefully we get even more surprises from Apple! Stay Tuned and we will be reporting about WWDC 2011.

Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference 2011 is just round the corner. Apple for the past few WWDC has been very focus on showing and telling the developers what is up and coming for the year. But they also did not forget the consumers, and always take the chance to introduce new products. So what will we see in this year’s WWDC? iOS 5 – Yes, Finally we will have a preview of what iOS 5 will be. It might be more tabletish, having more multi-tasking features, more features to make use of the screen real estate of iPad. Lion OS – Lion has been one of the main focus for the past 2 conference Apple held. This will be the final one, showing us the final product of what Lion will look like. iPhone 4S – I think iPhone 4S will not ship so soon, because White iPhone 4 just launched not long ago, but who knows Apple might surprise us with a new iPhone Macbook Air – MBA has been a success, and it is close to its refresh period.

This will be the final one, showing us the final product of what Lion will look like.

iPhone 4S – I think iPhone 4S will not ship so soon, because White iPhone 4 just launched not long ago, but who knows Apple might surprise us with a new iPhone

Macbook Air – MBA has been a success, and it is close to its refresh period. Thus we might see a Macbook Air with Thunderbolt and Sandy Bridge

Mac Pro – Apple recently killed XServe, and Mac Pro is the “replacement”. I’m thinking Apple will redesign Mac Pro to be “mountable” so as to better used in Data Center

Let’s hope we will have a exciting WWDC2011!

iPhone 4′s Camera is still one of the best in Mobile Phone market, no doubt the picture quality is the best. But one of the weakest point of the camera is the flash. Although Flash helped in night/dark photography on iPhone 4, but it almost always overexpose the picture or cause the photo to have a very white patch in the top area of the photo. Thus the next iPhone, iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 is rumored to have Camera and Flash separated, thus to reduce the overexposure and hopefully take better night photos. Below is a mock up of iPhone 4S with Camera and Flash separated by Apple.pro.
