Next Media Animation created a new video dedicated to Steve Jobs, summaring his life and his career in 2 minutes worth of animation. Although as usual, Next Media have their own take of what happened and made the animation overly exaggerated. but they have their humor.

Steve Job’s Life in Animation

In the animation, Steve Jobs took LSD and attained spiritual enlightenment. Together with Steve Wozniak they came out with their own product Macintosh and setup their own company called Apple.  But things did not went well with him, Steve Jobs was bounced out of his own company by John Sculley, who was hired by himself from Pepsi.

Pixar and Toy Story

Steve Jobs is not someone who gave up, he started up a new animation company Pixar and produced ‘Toy Story’ and was a great hit in film industry. Disney then bought Pixar up and this made Steve Jobs the single largest shareholder of Disney till today. Steve Jobs later was setup a new company which was bought up by Apple, in the end pushed him to be the new CEO of Apple.

That’s when Steve Jobs lead Apple to produced iMac, iPod, iPhone then iPad. Now Apple is the leading IT company around in terms of innovations, and Steve Jobs retired as CEO.

Magic of Truth and Lies with iPods

We have seen people perform magic on iPad, now they do with it iPods. Marco Tempest did this Magic of Truth and Lies with just 3 iPods on TED. This is pretty cool, I can imagine that practicing the timing and trying to synchronizing the 3 iPod’s movements and position should be quite hard.

This is a pretty cool iPad animation. I have never thought that just a piece of plastic sheet and some printing on it, we will be able to get such a cool animation on iPad.

Crazy stuff you can do in an Apple Store!

We have heard that Apple is always very open to what you can do in their Apple Store. But how crazy can they let you be in their store? Would like to eat pizza in an Apple Store? Rr dance in Apple Store?

Are you a Mac or PC user? How true is that for you? After reading I feel that most of them are pretty true. I’m a hybrid to be honest. For 9 hours on weekdays I will be using Window Laptop, but 5 hours on weekdays and 12 hours on weekends I will be on my Macbook Pro.

But of course, I’m measuring myself as a Mac user, because I will most definitely hope to use my Mac for work if I could. Some of them are pretty true for me.  Let us know how true is this infographic is to you!

Have you upgraded to Mac OS X 10.7 Lion? If so, are the gestures above very familiar to you? I’m sure all this gestures drawn by joyoftech are over-exaggerated, but I’m sure some of the less techy users might face one of the few issues drawn.

Huge Changes, less forceful by Apple

In this OS update, although lots of things have changed and Apple introduced a few new gestures too, but most of them are optional. Things like the “natural” scrolling which invert your scrolling can be switch around. Scrollbarless windows can be switched to always show scrollbar. Thus I feel that Apple is quite soft in Lion’s approach this time round.

This might be due to the growing market of Macs, lots of new Mac users, thus changes cannot be too forceful, else they might have too much bad comments/review.

This is plain amazing. I have seen countless people played guitar infront of me and infront of TV. Never once did I see how the string’s of guitar actually react to guitarist strum.

This young guitar, put an iPhone 4 into his guitar, and recorded how string oscillate when you strum on guitar. He actually accidentally found it out when he was trying to record his guitar playing via an iPhone 4. Be sure to check out the video as it is really very cool.

Funny Org Chart for Technology Companies like Apple and Facebook.

Yes, Although it looks like a just for fun organizational hierarchy chart from bonkersworld. But this chart is drawn up with understanding or at least some understanding of how the technology company operate.

Apple is a one man company

Just look at how Apple’s Org chart is, is it centered around 1 man, and branched out as a company. Honestly this is how everyone feels that Apple is being run. We are pretty sure most of the products need to be approved and reviewed by Steve Jobs before its product launch. So he is the man.

Microsoft kills its own product

Microsoft have departments building products that will kill another product they are building. Products like kin when already have Windows Phone 7.

Google is a 3 man team

Google has been a 3 man team for quite a while, with its 2 founders and their CEO running the company. Although things have change slightly, but I doubt the influence have changed.

Facebook has no structure?

Honestly, I don’t know about Facebook’s Company’s Structure, or should I say no one understand it clearly yet. Thus this kind of chart was drawn?

Oracle buy and buy company.

For the past years, Oracle has transformed from a Database Empire to a Buying Empire. They have been buying and buying tech company non-stop. So that’s why they need such a strong legal team?

Apple just recently released their new Final Cut Pro X. It is not a update to Final Cut Pro series, it is a total revamped. Due to this total revamp, Final Cut Pro X now look more like iMovie than its previous generation of Final Cut Pro. Yes, Apple rewrote Final Cut Pro X from ground up, but I feel they might have wrote Final Cut Pro X from iMovie up.

Alot of professionals who uses Final Cut Pro have problem adjusting to the new Final Cut Pro X as it seems to have lesser features and less robust than previous gen FCP. The comments they gave was it is actually iMovie Pro X. I have downloaded the FCPX, and used it for awhile, it really feels like iMovie. But it is so much better.

So I feel, Apple is really going to win over 90% of the video editors out there, who are doing short and quick videos for their blogs, commercials, training videos or even Podcast. But Apple will be forgoing the rest of the top 10% of editors who do professional videos like movies and shot films.

But who knows? Give Apple sometimes and let’s see how is the situation 1-2years later. Apple always are open to big changes, and make people change the way they look at things.
