Lines at WWDC 2011 [Video]

Guys from 9to5mac filmed the lines at WWDC 2011. Yes at this time, they are queuing over the night for WWDC. I don’t remember seeing queues outside WWDC 2010, so I’m sure developers can’t wait for iOS 5 and Lion to be out!
No confirmation from Apple what will iCloud cover, but I’m sure we see lots of syncing, not just Macs, but iOS devices.

We will be blogging live for WWDC 2011. Stay tuned with us. We also can’t wait for WWDC 2011 to come!

Magic on iPad 2 [Video]

Steve Jobs said iPad is a magical device, it really is. You don’t believe? Check out the below video by simon. Although he is not the first person who have created magic shows with iPad, but he really fully utilized iOS’s features.

Although the video is named Exclusive Preview on iOS 5, but it ain’t iOS 5. It is just illusions, and but he used a very good name that attracted lots of traffic! Nevertheless, his tricks are very well done, and it covers alot of iOS’s features like FaceTime, Apps rotations and more.

So check out his video and let me know what you think.

Time Capsules and Airports to be refresh on WWDC 2011?

Apple’s routers refreshing soon?

Time Capsules, Airport Express and Airport Extreme are reportedly experiencing shortages. I don’t think Apple should be facing production issue with them as they have been around almost 2 years. Thus we might be seeing refreshes of them! This is a great news to me as I’m looking at changing my router!

iCloud integration on Time Capsules, Airport Extreme and Airport Express?

But of course, why refresh Time Capsules and Airports together with iCloud? Apple is known to very successful in integrating their services with hardware. So can it be that Time Capsules and Airport Express and Airport Extreme will be closely tied to iCloud? We might be seeing some offline caching of iClouds data on Apple Routers, thus minimizing data transfer from Apple’s Data center to your Macs. How cool will it be?

So let’s stay tuned to check out if Apple will be refreshing their routers together with their up and coming iCloud during WWDC’11.

Steve Jobs will be at WWDC annoucing iCloud, iOS 5 and Lion on June 6

Steve Jobs announcing iCloud in WWDC 2011

Apple has just announced that their CEO, Steve Jobs will be taking the stage to talk about their new iCloud Service, iOS 5 and Mac OS Lion. Below is what they have sent to developers:

Apple® CEO Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. At the keynote, Apple will unveil its next generation software – Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS® X; iOS 5, the next version of Apple’s advanced mobile operating system which powers the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®; and iCloud®, Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering.

Pretty packed WWDC 2011 for Apple. But why did Apple announce to the whole world about iCloud just a few days away from WWDC? Apple is always secretive and like to give us surprises. So are we going to get even more surprises from Apple?

Predication for Apple’s WWDC 2011

iCloud will be Apple’s newest cloud service, which might comprise of iTunes Cloud Streaming, iDisk(or a possible rename?), Cloud App Syncing, Monthly iTunes music Subscription. Apple has been building this massive Datacenter, which will most likely be supporting iCloud. So with such a huge cloud datacenter, it will not just be iTunes, I have a feeling it will be much more.

  • Monthly Music Subscription – Users will be able to pay a monthly fee and have music as all-you-can-listen package
  • iTunes Cloud Streaming – Users’ existing music will be automatically upload to the iTunes Cloud
  • iDisk fully integrated in Mac and iOS 5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. So files can just be transfer via iCloud without going through 3rd party apps
  • App syncing – All Apps that users purchase will be stored in the cloud, but not only that. All the save games data, information will be stored in cloud thus be able to sync up throughout all the devices sign in with the same account

Above are just some prediction, and hopefully we get even more surprises from Apple! Stay Tuned and we will be reporting about WWDC 2011.
